Your tasks:

Support of our foreign companies in Belgium and France:
  • Responsibility for local GAAP accounting (transactions A/R, AP, GL entries)
  • Account reconciliation (review and control of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements)
  • Management of the invoicing process for the two business units
  • Local cash flow management and receivables management with direct reporting to the head office in Germany
  • Coordination of payroll (Belgium, Netherlands, France, Spain, Poland)
  • Processing of travel expenses
  • Interface between sales, customers, management and external service providers
    (local external accounting firms, auditors, lawyers, etc.)
  • Administration of customer and supplier maintenance and usage contracts, review of draft contracts if necessary

Your profile:

  • Commercial training or business management studies
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in a comparable position
  • Experience in the preparation of financial statements according to Belgian GAAP
  • Initial experience in IFRS reporting and in dealing with corporate groups 
  • Basic knowledge of contract law
  • Experience in the use / handling of ERP systems
  • Mastery of the relevant MS Office tools 
  • Very good knowledge of French, English and German, both written and spoken
  • Very good understanding of numbers 
  • Assertiveness and a high degree of resilience
  • Good communication skills 
  • International experience an advantage
