your tasks:
- Identify vertical market software businesses that meet our strategic criteria and specific metrics
- Plan, develop, and conduct prospecting campaigns through LinkedIn, email, calling,
attendance at trade shows, and in-person meetings - Engage and build long-term relationships owners, shareholders, advisors and other stakeholders
- Nurture leads regularly and over long timelines, helping to progress prospective targets through the pipeline
- Provide support in the later stages of the acquisition process including due diligence, legals,
and transaction execution
your profile:
- 3+ years of experience in business/corporate development, investment banking at a boutique firm,
or sales/marketing at an early-stage startup - Can speak multiple languages (English, German required)
- High curiosity and drive to connect with business owners and learn their stories
- Strong telephone communication skills and capable of establishing and building rapport remotely
- Solid understanding of company financial information
- Advanced time management, attention to detail, organizational, strategic thinking, and analytical skills
- Adaptable and flexible, with an ability to respond to changing work priorities, pressure and demands
- Must be self-motivated, able to work autonomously and think independently,
and open to learning and sharing new ideas - Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, and ability to work
in a collaborative manner with the senior management team - Readiness to travel within Europe
