your tasks:

  • Identify vertical market software businesses that meet our strategic criteria and specific metrics
  • Plan, develop, and conduct prospecting campaigns through LinkedIn, email, calling,
    attendance at trade shows, and in-person meetings
  • Engage and build long-term relationships owners, shareholders, advisors and other stakeholders
  • Nurture leads regularly and over long timelines, helping to progress prospective targets through the pipeline
  • Provide support in the later stages of the acquisition process including due diligence, legals,
    and transaction execution

your profile:

  • 3+ years of experience in business/corporate development, investment banking at a boutique firm,
    or sales/marketing at an early-stage startup
  • Can speak multiple languages (English, German required)
  • High curiosity and drive to connect with business owners and learn their stories
  • Strong telephone communication skills and capable of establishing and building rapport remotely
  • Solid understanding of company financial information
  • Advanced time management, attention to detail, organizational, strategic thinking, and analytical skills
  • Adaptable and flexible, with an ability to respond to changing work priorities, pressure and demands
  • Must be self-motivated, able to work autonomously and think independently,
    and open to learning and sharing new ideas
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, and ability to work
    in a collaborative manner with the senior management team
  • Readiness to travel within Europe
